Estacada football’s Lincoln Rathmanner, Ryan Thielke honored for two-way play

In a season dominated by La Salle Prep, who swept the top-awards during an undefeated run through conference play, several Estacada footballers were honored for their performances on the field.

The 4A Special District 2 League, which includes the Rangers, announced its 2023 all-league awards. For the Falcons, junior quarterback Paul Skoro was named offensive player of the year; junior linebacker Jacob Thayer was defensive player of the year; senior Lucas El Youssef was lineman of the year; and Dustin Janz was coach of the year.

Here are the Rangers who were honored:

• Ryan Thielke, senior, first-team wide receiver; second-team defensive back
• Hudson Smith, sophomore, first-team tackle
• Dominic Difrancisco, junior, first-team defensive line
• Cohen Schleich, senior, first-team defensive back
• Blake Barger, sophomore, second-team running back
• Ethan Stalcup, sophomore, second-team defensive line
• Andrew Riedel, senior, honorable mention quarterback
• Jacob Brewer, senior, honorable mention running back
• Walker Coy, senior, honorable mention center
• Reilin Vaugn, senior, honorable mention tackle
• Spencer Grund, senior, honorable mention defensive line
• Elliot Coyle, junior, honorable mention defensive line
