Estacada’s Jose Gonzalez-Felician named boys soccer player of the year

Estacada senior Jose Gonzalez-Felician was named the 2023 player of the year. 

An Estacada senior striker who helped spur his team to a deep playoff run was given the top honors in the Tri-Valley Conference.

Jose Gonzelez-Felician was named the Tri-Valley Conference’s boys soccer player of the year, leading the way for a well-deserving group of boys and girls Rangers who earned spots on the 2023 all-league teams.

For the boys Bryan Housley, Crook County, and Clark Jones, Madras, were named co-coaches of the year. For the girls Tori Vera, Gladstone, was the player of the year, and Colby Tonn, The Dalles, was coach of the year.

Here are all the Estacada players named to the all-league teams:


Boys

First Team: Jose Gonzalez-Felician, senior forward; Joshua Pallesen, senior midfielder/forward; Gener Pinto-Dominguez, senior midfielder

Second Team: Jeffry Tegman, senior defender

Honorable Mention: Austin Irelan, junior defender


Girls

First Team: Ava Shibahara, senior midfielder; Kenadie Reese, junior goalkeeper

Second Team: Alondra Sanchez, senior defender/midfielder

Honorable Mention: Megan Hammack, senior forward/midfielder
