Sandy track and field shines at its invitational meet

Raiders senior Quincy Nowak finished 6th in the 200. 

Sandy track and field invited a bevy of schools to brave the rain and compete during the Sandy Invitational Saturday, April 6.

The hosts did well across the board, with the Pioneers boys finishing 2nd (99.5 points) and the girls 3rd (77.5). Fellow Mt. Hood Conference rep Reynolds placed 7th for both boys and girls.

La Salle Prep won the boys competition (102.5), with Wilsonville 3rd (88) and The Dalles 4th (74.5). Wilsonville dominated the girls competition (175 points) with Scappoose taking 2nd (95 points).
