Barlow girls soccer’s Tercek, Robertson, West named to 2024 MHC first team

A trio of Barlow players led the way with first-team nods in the 2024 Mt. Hood Conference all-league selections.

The Bruins, who battled into the second round of the state championships, were led by senior forward Katya Tercek, junior midfielder Braelyn Robertson, and junior defender Olivia West. But that trio weren’t alone in celebrating — in total 24 athletes were recognized between Barlow, Sandy, Gresham and Reynolds.

The top awards went elsewhere: Suzanna Fee, Central Catholic senior, was the offensive player of the year; Evelyn Hollingsworth, David Douglas senior, was the defensive player of the year and goalkeeper of the year; and David Douglas’ Jon Dyer and Central Catholic’s Lucas DePinna were co-coaches of the year.
