Centennial Cheer places 6th at 2025 State Championships

Cheerleaders from across the state showcased their skills and hoisted trophies during the 2025 OSAA Cheerleading State Championships.

Six local teams — Barlow, Gresham, Sandy, Reynolds, Centennial, and Estacada — placed during the championships, which was held Saturday-Sunday, Feb. 15-16, at Oregon City High School.

Here is how they did:

In the 6A/5A COED Game Day Category, Centennial finished 6th (93.00 score); Sandy 13th (79.50); Reynolds 17th (73.00); and Gresham 18th (72.50). The Eagles and Pioneers both completed their routines without any penalty deductions.

Barlow took 8th in the 6A Small Traditional Category (89.20 score).

Estacada placed 9th in the 4A/3A/2A/1A COED Traditional Category (73.10 score).
