Sandy track and field hopped, skipped, jumped, and Fosbury flopped its way to a strong showing at one of the most prestigious annual meets at a historic venue.

The Pioneers boys jumpers shined at the Oregon Relays, a multi-day outing that brings together the best athletes from around the region. The Relays were held Friday and Saturday, April 4-5, at the University of Oregon’s Hayward Field.

Sandy filled up the podium, led by sophomore Topher Gabel’s silver in high jump and junior Chace Braden’s bronze in long jump.

Leading the way for Barlow track and field, the other local representative at the meet, was junior Caleb Perry, who claimed javelin bronze.
