- Jasmine "Jazzy" Davidson is ranked number one in ESPN's national 2025 women's basketball recruiting class after a freshman season that earned her the Oregon Girls Basketball Player of the Year award.
One of Oregon’s best high school girls basketball players has committed to the next level with Clackamas senior Jazzy Davidson announcing via Instagram that she will attend USC next year.

Davidson had the choice of going really anywhere in the country she liked as she has consistently been ranked in the top of three of her 2025 recruiting class nationwide since before her sophomore year. Her final list came down to UCLA, TCU, Texas, Connecticut and Duke.
ESPN currently has the 6-foot-1 wing listed as the No. 3 prospect and On3 has her rated No. 2.
The move will allow Davidson to pair up with JuJu Watkins for at least a season as the current sophomore Trojan isn’t eligible for the WNBA until after her junior season.

Watkins broke out as a freshman last season and made national waves as one of the best players in the country. Now, she’ll have one of the best players from the 2025 class joining her in Davidson as USC continues to establish itself as a potential powerhouse.
Davidson has one more season left for Clackamas where she helped the Cavaliers win the 2023 6A state championship, the first in program history. Last year, the Cavs were upset by Benson in the semifinals and denied the repeat.
She has been named the Oregon Gatorade Player of the Year all three of her seasons in high school and seems to be on the path toward making it 4-for-4 with another stellar year upcoming.
It’s been a busy summer as well for Davidson as she helped the USA women’s U18 team win the 2024 FIBA AmeriCup championship by averaging 11.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 2.7 steals and 1.3 blocks.
She is the highest recruit to come out of Oregon since Cameron Brink (Southridge/Mountainside), who attended Stanford and was drafted by the Los Angeles Sparks back in April.
The girls basketball season in Oregon officially begins Dec. 4 while Clackamas’ first listed contest is Dec. 10 at home against 6A contender Willamette.
